Sony’s new PlayStation Plus is live in North America – Polygon.com

As of Monday, Sony has officially launched its new PlayStation Plus subscription service in North America. The new service unifies and replaces the old PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now subscription services into one service with three tiers: the Essential, largely the same as the previous service; the Extra, adding access to a catalog of 400 PS4 and PS5 games, and the Premium, adding a back catalog of classic PlayStation games from previous generations.
