Microsoft’s commitment to AI ambitions strengthens their commitment to renewable energy in order to reach previous goals of becoming carbon-negative within the decade. Microsoft has set in motion “the largest corporate agreement to purchase renewable energy to date” with a possible estimated cost of $11.5 billion.


Fortnite, Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto dominate March playtime in the US –

A monthly report on US spending, published by Circana, included gaming engagement rankings for the month of March. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S both saw top engagement from players of Fortnite, Call of Duty HQ, and Grand Theft Auto 5.


Hasbro’s $1 billion bet on internal game development –

Hasbro made a big splash in the gaming industry last year with Monopoly Go and Balder’s Gate 3, both of which were externally developed. This year, Hasbro is set to invest $1 billion in their own developers and AAA studios across the United States and Canada.


Nintendo’s Orlando theme park will have Yoshi and Donkey Kong rides –

Mario, Yoshi, and crew descend upon Universal Studios in Orlando as Nintendo opens its second Super Nintendo World in the United States. The Orlando location will feature “the first Yoshi’s Adventure ride outside of Japan” as well as a Toadstool café and a Mario Kart interactive ride.
