Three Silent Hill games announced as Konami revives dormant series – VentureBeat.com

Konami announced a massive resurrection of the Silent Hills franchise in a special event on Wednesday. Three new Silent Hill titles are in the works along with a remake of the fan-favorite Silent Hill 2, as well as a new movie.

 

Halo Infinite co-op and Forge open beta coming in November – Polygon.com

343 Industries announced on Wednesday that several of the players’ highly requested features for Halo Infinite will become available during the Winter Update. Co-op, mission replay, and a Forge open beta will all be part of the update set for November 8th, along with a new 30-tier Battle Pass.

 

Netflix Is Developing 55 Games Currently – Gamespot.com

Netflix has announced that it has fifty-five games in development, a serious expansion of its current total of thirty-five. The company also announced that it is opening a new studio headed by former Overwatch executive producer, Chako Sonny, and is “very seriously considering” a cloud gaming service.

 

Riot Games acquires Wargaming Sydney for live service resources – VentureBeat.com

Wargaming’s Sydney Studio has been acquired by Riot Games and rebranded as Riot Sydney. The studio is well known for its work on Wargaming’s BigWorld MMO development toolset. Riot believes the development team’s expertise in live-service games will be an asset moving forward.
