A new program from Microsoft and Gamers Outreach, Beyond Xbox: Therapeutic Play sets out to promote gaming as a tool for recovery for hospitalized children. The companies co-released a short documentary to illustrate the socialization benefits gaming can provide for chronically ill patients.

Sony is set to release its latest version of PlayStation Plus in June of this year. The new version will combine features from PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now into three tiers of subscriptions with the Premium subscription providing access to a catalog of over 700 PlayStation games.

Blizzard releases a three-part Anniversary event for Overwatch featuring a remix of skins for the most popular characters. These events will replace the normal event schedule allowing for creative teams to focus on the PVP beta release. All unique skins and items from the Remix events will be transferrable to Overwatch 2.
