Overwatch 2- The Verge
Three years after its release, Blizzard announces their team shooter, Overwatch, will be getting a sequel. This announcement came rather unexpectedly from an on-stage announcement during BlizzCon 2019. Overwatch 2 seems to focus on a cooperative PvE experience instead of the original’s competitive PvP gameplay, but will still feature the classic 6v6 PvP modes. Furthermore, Blizzard promises PvP crossplay between both games and cosmetic unlocks from the first game transferring over to the sequel.

Why Diablo 4 went dark – Polygon
Diablo 4 was the most exciting announcement at BlizzCon 2019; not just because it meant the Diablo series would be moving forward, but because it confirmed that Diablo would be returning to its pervasively dark style. Blizzard reps have said D4 teams are excited to be taking the game back into a darker direction in terms of gameplay and world-building.

The next installment for WoW brings players into an alternate reality to fight Sylvanas and will see a wide array of changes for WoW as a whole. Shadowlands is currently available for pre-order, though, with the only release date confirmed for 2020. Now we know Shadowlands features new zones, dungeons, raids, and all the other usual expansion content, but will also bring new factions called Covenants, which are based on the ruling factions of each zone.

Nvidia announced that even their top-line GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics card can’t run the game at 4K quality at 60fps, that card pricing at a grand $1200. The game has yet to receive optimization patches and shows just how much further GPUs and their drivers can improve for the next generation.
