The title was the #1 downloaded iPhone game in 60 countries on release day, with the most downloads in the U.S., followed closely by India and Brazil. Sony Interactive Entertainment is planning a greatly expanded presence in the PC and mobile gaming space over the next few years. During an investor day presentation, the company revealed plans to start releasing roughly half of its games on PC or mobile, with the remainder split between the company’s PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles. This is a marked increase from about a quarter of titles released to PC this year, with the success of ported titles like God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn driving the move.
