After filing for bankruptcy in March of last year, the future of off-brand gaming peripheral company, Mad Catz was uncertain. Now, they’ve announcced a new line of gaming peripherals aimed specifically at the PC gaming market. So far, they have announced a mechanical keyboard, gaming mouse/mouse pad, and a brand new headset. No launch dates are currently available for their new products, but we’ll likely be seeing more the further we get into 2018.
Sea of Thieves Closed Beta in January
After spending over six months in closed alpha, Sea of Thieves will be opening its first beta to a select few. The closed beta will run from January 24th to January 29th and will not represent a full build of the game. For those who would rather wait for full release, Sea of Thieves will be coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs in March of this year. Microsoft also unveiled a Sea Of Thieves themed controller earlier this week with glow in the dark artwork.
On Thursday, Nintendo held a “Mini-Direct” where, in a fifteen minute video, they briefly went over the titles that are expected to launch later this year. Some of the notable highlights were a new Mario Tennis game in the form of Mario Tennis Aces, a multiplayer update for Super Mario Odyssey and an updated version of Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze all coming to Switch later this year. Total War: Three Kingdoms Announced
Earlier this week, the team behind the Total War franchise announced that the next entry in the series is coming later this year and will focus on the Han Dinasty in ancient China. The story will focus on heroes uniting to take down a tyrannical child emperor and will be set in 190CE. Total War: Three Kingdoms is set to launch in Fall 2018.
