Asia and MENA games market generates $86.6bn in 2024 – GamesIndustry.biz

A new report by Niko Partners revealed $86.6 billion in revenue was generated by the Asia and MENA markets in 2024. Projections are that the same markets could reach $96 billion by 2029, with Thailand reported as the “fastest growing market in Southeast Asia.”

According to the Entertainment Software Association, there are 205.1 million active gamers in the United States, 64% of the total population. The gaming population is growing, with active players rising amongst American children, Millennials, and the Silent Generation.
