Nvidia and Arm call off $80B merger and Arm CEO resigns – VentureBeat.com

The graphics chip maker, Nvidia, and mobile processor company, Arm, have decided to walk away from plans for a merger after the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and EU regulators announced opposition to the acquisition.  Arm’s parent company Softbank has announced plans for an IPO in lieu of an acquisition.

Microsoft commits to keeping Blizzard titles such as Call of Duty, Diablo, and Overwatch cross-platform games for at least the next two years.
