Square Enix Montreal rebrands as Studio Onoma – VentureBeat.com

Following its acquisition by Embracer Group, Square Enix Montreal has been rebranded as Studio Onoma. The new name is the work of an in-house “brand squad” tasked with choosing the name and brand identity for the company that will “support a wide range of uses, experiences, and narratives.”

After a somewhat rocky start, Blizzard Entertainment has announced that it has “largely stabilized the game overall” and will be giving Overwatch 2 players free cosmetics and double XP weekends to make up for any lost playtime. Players who log in from October 25 through the end of the season will receive a free Reaper skin and health pack weapon charm along with double XP during as-yet unannounced dates.

 

Spider-Man: Miles Morales Comes to PC This November – IGN.com

In a recent PlayStation Blog post, Sony has announced a PC release date for its once PlayStation-exclusive title, Spider-Man: Miles Morales. In addition to the game’s November 18th release date, Sony has released PC system requirements and revealed Nvidia DLSS 3 support on 40-series graphics cards, as well as DLSS 2, DLAA, and Nvidia Reflex on supported hardware.
